catch 22
As before - your picture will have to be somewhere on the Internet - and of course, you can use the previous Forum Upload site found here:

That "somewhere on the internet" is the catch. Seems like there should be a link from the frames page to: http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/upload.html Not everyone will have a place to post a picture on the internet or the ability. And I will surely forget the URL for putting a picture on the internet. It would be SO convenient to have a link to the left so we do not have to shortcut to a bookmark and search all day.

No rush. You do good work, John.
I do not know that I could oversee an active website and have a dayjob also. Sit down and take a breather. (and I ain't no Einstein, if you get my drift.)

Wes, go to http://www.clubphoto.com they offer a free photo upload service, just download and install the software. You can share the photos in the album by putting the URL here. You have to be able to get the photo into the computer first. There is a way to get the url of the photo but it won't work for me.

Herb,
I have a domain and am able to post to my own site with a FTP software. This is no problem. Those of us who are "old salts" with computers will post no matter the obstacles (and enjoy the challenge). The reason that I mention that a link might be included with the Lugerforum site is for convenience of everyone who joins this forum. If there is too much trouble in posting a graphic for a new member, there will be much fewer contributions by them. There really is no reason to leave the Lugerforum site to post any pic, whenever the task can be accomplished, as before, on site. I am sure that you will agree. If you need a neat way of glomming onto a URL of a pic without having to download it to your computer, let me know and I will guide you through the process using Internet Explorer (any version). You will be happy with the results. Here is an example that I glommed from the Lugerforum page URL and is linked to that site: With your permission, here is another example with the URL link to the Lugerforum site:

I know what you mean, it would be a lot easier to upload direct to the forum rather than to another site than transfer to this site. Hopefully it will come about. By the way, you should get another picture taken, that's just plain ugly!! LOL

Herb,
There is a reason that I do not post my mug on the Rogues Gallery. I am so ugly that it is a complete waste of skin.

I resemble that! I didn't post it, I think John D got that shot at Ralph's house at the March WOL convention and then posted it to the old forum.
