Welcome to the Forum! What exactly are you refering to as a M29? I am assuming you mean a Swiss Luger. If so it would be a 1939 manufacture date.

Marcus,

Welcome to this forum, yes your Luger was made by W+F in 1939 (between s/n 55781 and 57680) Why don't you post somee photos of your gun?

Have a good 2014

Here are a few photos, one of the W+F mark. What do those initials stand for? Also, what about the other mark?
For comparison the is a picture of the Swiss Luger with an American Eagle 1900 and an Erfurt P08.

Hi Curio,
The first mark obviously stands for Waffenfabrik Bern. The mark on the bakelite grips, S&Co, is the mark of Suhner & Co. AG, Herisau, a firm in business since 1864. You can also find bakelite grips marked MA, in this case made by Gummi Maag AG, Duebendorf.
Hope this can help
