Default Great source of old Luger P08 parts

I was looking for a rear toggle pin with the number 59.
I wrote to this company in Germany and asked them. Guess what:
They had this part with number 59!
They are one of the biggest gun part companies in Germany specialiced in old gun parts. For an ADDIONAL fee of 11.00 Euro they try to find a part with your desired 2-digit number. You have only to pay the 11.00 Euro if they have the part.

Note: Parts with the note "EWB" are only availible for buyer with a German weapon licence.

Andy, This would be a valuble resource if they had an English section..The inability to look over this in English is more than a little agravating.

Normally parts marked EWB are grips?

Jerry, the asamnet webpage has a click button at the top right of the page marked "translate". This function works to a degree.

means a German gun licence is needed for this part, parts w/o EWB stated like pins, etc. are unrestricted.
ONLY the barrel, grip-frame and toggle are restricted parts. (EWB)

Just email them in English if you have a question for a spare part. I guess they will do their best to aswer in English.
If there is a problem, just add a photo or use the part# on the luger parts chart. They are not cheap with the service and export fees, but if you are really deperate like me to get a special part, then it's worth the money and effort.

I thought that this company, for additional fee, stamp parts with the number you want. After that you can`t send it back or get your money back.
But they do have both original and new parts.

IF CDS is now renumbering parts, hopefully they are using the proper type die set for the period. Otherwise, I'd rather have an unnumbered part than on without the correct style number set. TH

Tom,
if they are renumbering, then I would call this fraud.
Am I wrong?

I double checked their website: Quote ---
"Spezialangebot für 08-Teile
Gegen einen Aufpreis von 11 Euro pro Stück liefern wir Ihnen 08-Teile mit der gewünschten zweistelligen Endnummer Ihrer Waffe, soweit vorhanden. Ein Tausch ist in diesem Fall nicht möglich. "---

They state: Special offer for 08 parts, for the addional fee of 11 Euro per part, they will deliver the requested part with the 2-digit number of your gun, if available.

They did not state that they are renumber the parts.

But they have a h u g e amount of original spareparts.
This is an old company. My friend's father in GErmany bought from CBS many, many years ago in the 1970's M1 Carbine parts.
Of course it makes no sense at all to order parts from them, only if a numbered original part is needed.

They state under "Bestellen" that they cannot ship to private individuals in the USA for legal reason. Too bad.

I just read that the minimum purchase amount for out of EU-countries sale is
275 Euros
Quote:
Minimum orders for merchandise (other than guns and main gunparts) are 25 Euros inside the EU-member states. All other countries have a minimum order for ALL parts of 275 Euros net (plus shipping and packing). We send (where applicable) only COD, or for countries not supporting COD, only by prepayment to our bank account, or by creditcard. Let us know, how you will pay....

And remember: - Except from EU-member-countries -, we do NOT accept, returning of merchandise without written agreement in advance! For all goods (i.e. guns, magazines, main gunparts), needing an International Exportlicense, the minimum order is 275 Euros net (+ surcharge 30 Euros for Paperwork, plus shipping and packing costs)

Remember that we have members who live in Europe. Perhaps one of them will be kind enough to order the part for you and then send it on to you personally. Technically ordering gun parts from abroad require filling out a form 6 with ATF and getting it approved before purchasing.
I don't think anybody will blink at a small axle pin traveling by padded envelope.

If some of you people need help with this company, I`m living in an EU country. Finland.
Only the parts that need permission would be too much trouble.
Please send pm, if interested.
