The holster is definately of WWI manufacture and issue. The B.A. XI mark is, no doubt, in stamped. It stands for the "Bekleindungsamt" (clothing procurement office) 11th army corps, Kassel. The X1. Armeekorps was comprised of Hessian and Thuringian regiments. If the rig is original and the condition right, the price seems reasonable. |
