Nice Luger Poster...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=4078
Bought one from the seller at Tulsa last year. Very nice "frame-able" P-08 luger poster with good color and detail...think I paid $ 8-10 for mine... I had invited the seller to post a For Sale ad on the LF, as well... Rebgards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Hi,
These also appear sometimes as black and white posters. Bought and framed one of those a couple of years ago for about 1 EUR. If my memory serves me well, these pictures were not 'official' but rather commercial publications by a German firm in the first part of the 20th century, in fold-out form. They are nice, since the illustration shows some hybrid versions (without stock lug and with dished toggles, but with a coil spring and conical 9mm shells). I bet that the one who drew it, never saw a luger in his life and based it upon several sources. |
