Default Help I.D. a Luger for a new guy?

Hi, I've had this Luger for a while and don't know much about it. Could anyone tell me when/where it was made? Is the chrome finish original? I've never seen one like this. What would you say the value is? Serial number is: 2561. Thanks in advance!

It is commericial luger, sold in the 1920's most likely that was niclkled / chromed, most likely after WW2, but impossible to say when.

If caliber is 9mm, then it might be worth $500-$600 (max), if 7.65mm, then 1/4 less in my opinion.
