1937 Hk
Looking at a 1937 Krieghoff. Everything I have seen in pictures looks ok. The serial number is in the 7900range. The inspection stamp under the right grip is a 7 , According to Gibson this should be a star after 6400 or so. Has anybody else seen a 1937 HK with a 7 inspection stamp ? The serial number on the frame looks fine. Could this be a frame made in 1936 when the 7 inspection stamp was used, and not utilized until 1937? Help. Bill

Bill, I would send an e-mail to John Dunkle, see if he has time. I would listen to him on a krieghoff over anyone else I know.

I tried to e-mail you after our Private Messages - I'm guessing you didn't get it?? Anyway - I'd be pleased to take a look at any pictures you send may way, but I may not have a chance to take a close look until late tonight when I get home..? You can send them to: johnd@rennlist.com Also - Ed..!!! With the weather finally turning to "summer" rather than "duck season" - you and I should get to the range!! Maybe we'll shoot my 1938 HK Best to you! JD |

Hey Ed..!!!
There is a .22 league on Tuesday nights - which - if I can ever get out of work on time on - I'll actually make!! I have a lot of .22s - so you and I ought to make it to a few... Sure beats BINGO You have to wear those funny hats when you play BINGO? If so - I'm gonna pretend I don't know you... Also - Bill..!!! I tried to send you a reply a while ago - but I'm getting this reply: Error Action: delayed Remote-MTA: mx.montana.com Diagnostic-Code: SMTP; Cannot connect to remote host Anyway - not a problem.. Here is my reply to your terrific pics, questions and HK you sent me in e-mail earlier today....
