Default navy cleaning rod

Any one know where to find a real, or repo cleaning rod for the P04? There are plenty of rods out there for the LP08, but haven't found any for Navies. Not so sure the revshop ones on Epay are the real deal. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
9 out of 10 Navy rods are fake, sometimes the sellers themselves don't know what's genuine and whats repo. This one looks like the real deal to me.

Default Navy zig zag rod

Hi to all, I have purchased several of the revshop Navy zig zag cleaning rods, and I think they could well be real? But, it really doesn't matter to me, because if repro. they are made so very well, that they have enough value to cover their cost?... I'm at ease with the rods, and think they are a nice compliment to a rig or collection either way... best to all, til…..lat'r….GT

Update. Purchased a Navy rod from RevShop on Epay. It arrived yesterday. Now, I'm new at this Luger "thing", but judging by the patina on the brass, the ring placement on the wood handle, the shape of the handle, and using pics in some of my Luger books, I would be inclined to believe this was the real deal. JMHO.

Like George says!
Hi Tom,
Send me a PM with your email address, I'll send you a couple of photos showing how you can tell the difference. For obvious reasons I don't want to make them public.

Can someone post a link to this Revshop navy page? I've searched for Revshop with no luck except getting webpage building. Interested in the navy cleaning rods.

Just go onto Ebay and search for "Luger Navy". There will be some rods show up from RevShop.

Found the Navy cleaning rods from RevShop on Ebay. Some questions though, they seem to be listed, though not exactly said, used WW1 era cleaning rods. He list them "As The Real Deal" That would make one think they are originals. Only $142 with shipping, and he has 8 of them and they look mint and never used, nice find! "The Real Deal" I think not. I have a 2 nice repo navy Holsters, but Sadly I cannot afford $284 for 2 of RevShops cleaning rods. for a display. Guess I'll wait awhile.

Bill,
call, write , or PM me.
I can shorten a couple "cheap" repro arty rods to navy length for you. will shorten from the handle end, so they will "look" right.
I answered your other pm, but didn't hear back either.

I got mine for 102 shipped just before the price was raised. It's a repo, but better than paying the ridiculous $200 to $400 for the real deal. IMHO.

You'll pay a pant-load more than $400 for a real zigzag Navy rod.

Someone will, not me. I'm a minor collector. I am enthusiastic, but not rabid. My pockets are much more shallow than my wants are deep. So I have to be careful where to draw the line.
