Default Thor/Ted Accident, Fundraiser

This morning I happened to upon a GoFundMe for Ted when googling for his website. He had been doing some work for me but I hadn't heard from him in a while.

I was not expecting to see this link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-t...owing-accident

His hiatus for the last month was due to a serious accident. From the post it's clear he has been through some rough weeks but appears to be getting better from recent updates.

Default Thor

Thanks Everett, I wasn't aware of his accident, I just now donated to his recovery as per you link, I hope the forum responds. I still am humbly in awe as to the help my family received from this group of outstanding gentlemen, when we were up against it! Best to all, and a speedy recovery to Ted... best, til...lat'r....GT

I have donated as well and I hope others do too.

As i read the description of the fall I cringe because a fall similar to his destroyed my life 16 years ago.

I pray to God that Thor makes a full and speedy recovery.

Everyone on this forum is always so generous. I remember a few years back an Airborne friend of mine lost his son and so many donated. I am paying it forward. Speedy Recovery Thor

I was in contact with Ted's daughter earlier today ... she would like all of you to know she appreciates your support and that things are going as well as can be expected
.------------------------

Hello Greg,

This is Ted’s daughter, Melanie. I received your message regarding my dad. My dad is the Ted from your forum- his accident was on 4/5.

I sincerely appreciate you reaching out. His accident was obviously unexpected and has been extremely hard on all of us. Any support you and the members of the forum would like to give my dad is extremely appreciated!

Please let me know if you have any other questions for me.

Thank you,
Melanie Mason

I've added my weight to the football-style pile-on of donations...

I am pleased to be able to say that Thor's 'Go Fund Me' page has reached its goal of $10,000 dollars.

There is no present update on his present condition but if the members would like I would reach out to Melanie, Ted's wife, for an update.

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Ted, but I do admire his work.
I was happy to contribute and I'll do it again, if need.
Thanks for keeping us updated, too !
I wish Ted all the best.
