http://greatwarphotos.com/2014/12/01...he-somme-1914/ Its the Battle Of The Somme. I have an artillary luger that survived the battle! I try to focus on the personal aspects of war~ On the right are at least a hundred links to other fine articles and photographs~~ I can get lost in all this information~ Respectivly Summited, Eric~

Take a few at a time. Ed set it up and I'm thankful in one thread. Much like a chinese menu. Read only what interests you. What I find I must post with short dispription immediatly or possibly lose it forever. Believe me it takes hours and I have a numb typing finger. There are hundreds out there and I post only those I deem relevant and professional. Lugers are a very popular topic! Tks as always! I have learned so much from these articles. I'm trying to bring them all together to avoid you all hours of your valuable time and soar eyes elsewhere. Please stay here as your suggestions are valuable and welcomed~ Again I thank Ed an John for this kind courtesy

An interesting article dealing with captured German firearms collected by the Russians at the end of the war and later reissued with xxxx markings. I've attached my Mosin Nagant revolver as I don't own a Russian marked luger. http://www.ai4fr.com/main/page_milit..._luger_rc.html
