Default Simson magazine

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230126710423

Here is a Simson magazine on ebay at this time. I'd like to point it out as what I believe to be a Simson rework or replacement magazine, not an original issue magazine.

This is not to say Simson did not have this go through their hands at some point, but was most likely not an original issue magazine but a magazine that was an extra bought by the police.

This one is also police issue, as it has a "1" (I) on the base. There is a "grouping" of sear / magazine safety Simson's in the "a" suffix range. This one could be either for an early Simson #1394 or more likely 1394a, although most of the "a" suffix magazines observed have the "a" stamped on the base.

Simson's that we have seen as original issue have two eagle 6's on the base, and another small eagle 6 on the base of the spine. This one has a single eagle 6 and nothing on the spine (I asked the seller).
