I have a black Luger holster dated 41, marked P.08, with a WaA170 mark, and with the makers initials "bcb" on it. Can anyhelp help me with an identification of this maker? Thank you.

Hi Cactus, Pg.134, The Luger Book by John Walter: Otto Graf, Heeresausrustungen - und Sattlerwarenfabrik, Leipzig-Norg, Planitzer Strasse 19 (in 1941). Very little is yet known about Graf, whose products included saddles, belts, cartridge pouches, and holsters. Trading apparently ceased at the end of the war. Code: 'bcb', Febuary 1941. WaA sub-bureau number 170 (1940-2). We like pictures ... Only if you can

Cactus-one, IF you have a scanner, believe it or not it will take a fair image of 3 dimensional objects. Just lay it on the glass and cover it with a clean cloth... White is good, but any light color will do. The problem is the file size... sometimes it can be VERY large. If you need help with reducing large images to smaller ones that can be uploaded here, contact me via PM.

You could also just ask a friend or acquaintence to take a couple of digital photos and email them to you so you can post them...
