Hi Sorriaux,

The holster style for the Swiss luger M1900 and M1906 is very identical.

Your holster has the Ordance style metal clips on the ends of the shoulder strap. Does it also have metal rivots on the belt loops on the back of the holster as well ? This is an Ordnance feature as well.

On the back of your holster, is a maker's stamp and date shown (date usually in 2-numbers only such as "23" for 1923.

I let the date of the holster determine if the holster belongs to a M1900 or to a M1906 luger.

As you may know, the style of the Swiss holster changed dramatically with the M1929 Swiss luger introduction.

Yes...probably an early Ordnance holster.

On the inside surface of the closure flap, do you see a stamping of a cartouche with a swiss cross and maybe a letter ? If yes, this would indicate Ordnance acceptance.

It is probably not the type shown on page 465 of Bender's big book...the design of the closure flap on yours is different than the one shown on page 465.
