Potland Gun Show Report--April
A better gunshow than we have seen here in months, Luger-wise.
byf 41, wood grips, fxo mag, pretty nice shape, $725 .30 Alphabet Commercial, very nice, $800 byf 41, bakelite grips, fxo mag, 10" .30 bubba-built barrel, ground stock lug, $1.3k Police rework of a 1908 First Issue Military, sear safety and clipped mag safety, Imperial unit mark overstamped with Police unit mark, two mags, Police holster converted from military, unstamped loading tool, $2k Bob Hogan was there for the morning with four Lugers: 1906 Swiss Cross-in-Shield, $2.9k Swiss Berne, $2.8k both choice guns .30 Alphabet Commercial, $595 .30 1923 Commercial (5-digit serial#), $595 Neither one really collection quality A couple of Swiss holsters, $125 each He also had several other interesting early-century autoloaders--Sauer, an couple of FNs, cyq P-38, etc. Jerry Kramer was back with a selection of high-quality, high-price Lugers: 1906 AE, $1,895 1906 Berne blank chamber, $3,195 1906 Swiss Cross-in-Starburst, $2,995 1906 Cross-in-Shield, $3,295 byf 42, wood grips, $1,895 DWM 1st Issue Military, $1,895 (I think...) Simson .30 export-marked rework, $2,295 1913 Erfurt with stock lug, $1,595 1906 AE, $2,995 Interarms cutaway, $3,000 Snail drum loader, $1k ERMA .22 conversion kit in box, $749 1906 Portuguese holster, $175 1915-dated Police holster, $195 .30 Alphabet Commercial walk-in, wouldn't say a price Mauser Interarms Swiss-frame 9mm walk-in, might have taken an $800 offer 1915 walk-in, buffed n'blued (poorly) with a .30 6-inch barrel, $500 --Dwight |

No, just stupid fingers. Same as for the wrong month. Russ, Would've liked to had the First Issue/Police, but it was admittedly priced to keep. I did pick up the 10" barrelled byf for a whole lot less (and I mean a whole lot) than he was asking. Figure I'll shoot it for a bit and then sell it. --Dwight --Dwight |

Dwight, when you get ready, I have a first issue police with 2 match, original not forced, clips, holster/tool....let me know.
