Default Tim Babcock UPDATE!!!

Appears to be using another email and name, just received a mail from him asking for his holster back and saying I ripped him off!!!!! GEEEEE, lets see, I paid 250$ for a 50$ holster and an additional 350$ deposit for a pistol, which I backed out on due to the crappiness of the holster (didn't trust seller after holster was received), he kept all the money and now says I ripped him off?!?!?!?!!? Here is his email he used:
anonymous.a5609d187d@anonymousspeech.com and here is the name he signed: chadce
Admin please post as a "BEWARE"......................B

bruce, there must "really" be something wrong in his noggin? I mean, he screwed you over and you gave him flack and now he is weighing in again? Is he thinking like a nigerian scam, he notifies x number of people he has dealt with and 1% send money back?

I guess threatening legal action would do nothing....

I sent the holster back to him 9 mos ago, he then said he would refund 200 of the 250$ I paid, I figured some of 600$ would be better than none!!! Now he says I screwed him cause he never received the holster, nor have I received ANY money back, so how is he screwed?!?!?!?!? Here is his actual email: QUOTE"I still have not reieved the holster you owe me.
You said several months ago you were going to send me my holster back.
You have trashed my good name and reputation and then ripped me off of
my holster. WTF.
It was a good 41 dated holster. I have another buyer that wants it."UNQUOTE. As far as I see it, if holster was lost in the mail (doubtful) it should be no hair of his back, he still has my money. It's my loss either WAY!!!!! Anyway, I gave up on him, not worth my time, just letting the forum know.......................Bruce

Sounds like Ol' Tim is a major mental case.

I'd tell him to go ahead and drink KoolAid , cause the Mother Ship threw a muffler bearing and had to go back.

Bruce

Did you use the 'Delivery Confirmation' option when you sent the holster back?

I knew he wouldn't refund my money, so I sent it back at the lowest cost to me. I have given up on seeing the money, I just wanted to alert the forum what name he is also using now. Later,.........................B

ratdog,

Delivery confirmation from the PO costs just $1.50. It is worth it. With this, people absolutely cannot claim they did not receive the item sent AND you have evidence of mail fraud... nasty federal charges people will usually eviscerate themselves to avoid.

David, You can get delivery confirmation for free on a priority mail pkg if you print out the internet version . Besides it's not $1.50 but .65 cents. .75 on 1st class.
This a$$hole robbed me on a $400 dollar dagger deal. I hope he roasts in hell. Jerry Burney

Jerry,
I know how you feel. I haven't been gotten to that badly, but of the last four purchases over the internet, I got screwed on three of them: the reason those are my LAST four purchases over the internet. From now on, I either see it before I put down a single dollar, or I get it from an established member of this forum or someone one of those members vouches for.
Life is too short to allow the desire to get my hands on something put me at risk of a sour deal; one sour deal takes the sweetness out of the next ten.

David, thats the way I feel now about trying to buy anything, that A-Hole took me for 600$, and filing complaints with DA's and the PO were useless. So I figure my buying days are over and no one will EVER do that to me again!!!! Later.......................B

That Luger was the one he offered me, with the POS holster he bought from Ruptured Duck for 175 and sold to me for 250$. You can do a search of his name on here for the full story, the guy is slime and a con artist. He ripped off other people on a site I believe is called the Wehrmacht awards site or something like that, he did under the handle of "me262". POS A-HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The luger looked good from the photos, but I could not swing it. I think he was asking 1500 for it.
Glad I did not go for it.
BTW his user name was jim babcock but when I asked about where to send the money he said to send it to chet dae michigan I forget what town.
I dont know if chet is the real name or not.

I did a search and there are a butt load of tim babcocks in michigan.
Not to mention in the usa. If I could get a bit more information about him maybe I could find if he did move and if so where. Do you have an exclusive info on this guy?
