Default Jacksonville Gun Show part 2 bit of OT

Nothing new on the Luger front, although the nickled p38, nazi marked was gone, darn it! It had fake pearl grips, a real charmer.

The 9mm DWM Carbine wasn't for sale, although I sat down with Lew for several hours today. Yesterday a guy had come by with a Nambu, in an origanal holster and spare magazine for $350. I would have bought it, Lew said it was in very nice condition. Just from a money stand point, magazines for a Nambu go for $75-85 each on e-bay and holsters go for $150 or so, so the pistol would have been $125, well that was the argument I told my wife last night on the phone,

I did buy something, although last time it was brought up, there was an uproar about how ugly they are!!

I bought a Dreyse, it came with the Certificate, bring back paperwork, and I just had to have it, besides the price was reasonable. There was a small "Duo" 6.35? cal pistol, that is marked on the bring back certificate, but he wanted $125 for it and I passed on it.

No new Lugers, no original holsters or magazines either and I was looking for some...

Could you get me a lead on the nickel plated P 38 w/the simulated pearl grips? There's always a market for those here in Alabama. There is a militaria gun show week after next in Birmingham. If there are any special requests let me know but be specific in what and in price. I'll be glad to look.

Sorry Roadkill, the dealer didn't have it today and I am afraid I don't know his name, as I don't live here, just here for business,

(tried e-mailing direct and it didn't accept your e-mail address)
