Thanks for adding the photos to the Owners Corner Dok. The photos do not do this pistol justice! It looks as close to any original I have ever seen. I have had a couple of my Luger collector friends look at the pistol and they cold not tell it had been reworked until they looked at the bore whcih has some minor wear but still in excellent condition. This pistol is the centerpiece in my Luger collection.

One of the next ones I am doing is a "K" date for another client. These Early Mausers are somewhat rare and fun.

Both are shooter grade! Working on Doks (and FM's) tonight! Gotta change Doks back from a Scheimesser to a Luger (it was going auto on me during preliminary pre work firing) BBBUUUURRREEEPPPPppp

Marvin, could you or Ted post some info on how to take a good close-up picture of a Luger? Do you use a digital camera or scan in a traditional type photo? Dok, the checkering on the grips seems distorted - or is this a problem with my Mac? Patrick

Patrick,

Ted will have to be the one to expalin how to get the good closu-ups. I don't even own a digital camera yet. I have to borow one when I make photos and I still don;t have the close-up wokr down very well.

Default Focus distortion...

A couple of these pictures are what we call in the trade "soft". The focus is not as sharp as it could be. Most notably bottom row left and middle.

Speaking as a fellow Mac user, how could you even SUGGEST a Mac might have a problem???
