I met Justice Marshall in the mens' room at the Seton Law Schools' dedication in 1978. While Standing there and not know what to say, I told him that I was starting Law School the following year at Villanova and asked Him if He had any advice for a fledgeing neophite. While standing right beside him, He offered Me 3 suggestions, First, Don't try to out run your own shaddow. (a metaphor) Second, If you can't your point in 2 words or less, its you missing Your point. Finally Renew your wedding vows and oath of Office daily. For a period of several years I didnt heed his advice and would up in a coma in a third world country. Its definitely good and timeless advice and I wonder how many person shared a mens'room under like circumstances especially with 2 secret service agent standing behind you with such an icon!
