Magazine database ?
I'm a newby here. I've been lurking for a while but haven't been posting.
So many of these pistols have non matching magazines, I wonder if anyone has thought about a magazine exchange database? Paul Salome, AZ |

Hi Paul,
Everyone seems to want a magazine base, one where you can look up the number of your gun and find it's magazine if it's out there. Unfortunately it's not that simple. There were several different Luger manufacturers, making several different models, some of them in such large numbers that they went through the suffix letter alphabet several times. A project like this would require active management which would mean a lot of work by someone. I should know, I've been doing this on a very limited basis for imperial Navy Lugers only. I figure doing it for all military Lugers would take more than 40 times as many hours. Any volunteers? Norm |
