I provided quite a bit of material to Joop when we were working on the books. My print of the Lugers (jr. and sr.) is the only known surviving original print. Fred Datig used a copy of a copy that was printed in a German encyclopedic book from the late 1930s. The photo of the Luftwaffe officer came with his soldbuchs and shooting book. The photo below was misrepresented in Joop's book. It is actually a P08 with an Erma .22lr conversion set installed. |
