Default DWM 1910 Shooter

Just acquired this DWM 1910:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xuwnpl560...zsXUklRra?dl=0

No stock lug, no hold open, sear not relieved, hot salt reblued. All numbered parts match, except mag. Pity it was reblued, but the refinishing was beautifully done; very deep, dark, uniform blue.

IMO, a nice shooter.

Best,

Kyrie

Looks like they did a pretty decent job on the reblue. The edges still look pretty sharp. Smeared the barrel serial number a bit though. Not a bad gun.

Nice shooter. I've thought that we sometimes attach too much importance to original finish versus refinish. If it gives you pleasure, and looks nice, its worth it. Shoot it.

Why is the takedown latch and sideplate numbered in the commercial style?

Doug,

1910 lugers still retain partial commercial number placement.
