Default Installing Erma Extractor in Conversion kit

Have a Erma Green Box conversion kit. Trying to install the extractor, but despite many attempts, the extractor will not stay in place. I have used a small screw driver to hold back the detent and then released it to catch the top of the flat on the extractor. No good. The extractor fails to stay in place.

Any suggestion would be deeply appreciated.

Thanks

The SE-08 extractors are difficult to install because their slot is not open, as in the SE-082. and you need to work thru the openings it has.

Note the "tail" on the bottom, rear of the extractor body. To achieve correct position, that tail needs to drop/click down into its vertical hole in the breech block. Once it's back as far as it can go in the breech block, use that little screwdriver to push down on the extractor body.

I hope that screwdriver is brass. Unless you have three hands, push the setup against a piece of hardwood to get the extractor body back in far enough
