Paul,

It might be a fake, but the price is right!

The holster looks righteous to me.

If it's a fake, it's a damn good one.

Looks like machine stitching to me and sew pattern on back is not correct.
I vote fake

My vote is real. I have a 1934 dated holster made by Otto Sindel with the exact stitching on the back. Seems he made a slight difference on the top of the mag pouch. The backing stitches do not go across the mag pouch stitches. Bill

Cool Fake..??

...Well...it just may be the fact that I am Reired Police...and am a naturally suspicious person......but this "found in a Ukraine warehouse".....sounds bogus to me.....I know a Dealer at the Big SOS Show in Louisville that has ....for years.....sold "Original SS Belt Buckles...just found in a warehouse in Europe"...and they are hands down a FAKE...but you won't believe how many he has sold..!!!....for what its worth.....this Holster on Ebay sold for $598.98 and took ....28 ...bids........now not to destroy anyones illusions....but you might want to bookmark that Seller......I got good money riding on he will maybe in week or so........"Find" another Holster from a warehouse in the Ukraine...but ..thats just me....

It might certainly be buyer ignorance or, (my bet) , a number of savvy buyers hoping to score an almost pristine, period police holster.

Here's the image of the stamp that the ebay seller sent:

Here's some images from various auction houses of 1941 Otto Sindel Stamps taken from full Banner Rigs for camparison:

Still looks correct to me. The last picture above also shows where Sindel did not cross the mag pouch stitches with the horizontal backing stitch. I still feel someone got a great holster even if a might high. Been waiting for our expert Jerry to give us the word. Brendan. Thanks for the pictures. Bill
