Default Unusual Holster Mark

I recently picked up a 1920 commercial Luger in a 1916 holster. One mark I noticed on the back was an Imperial crown over the letter D. My camera is not working right now or I would send a picture. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Daryl, Is it a Crown over II perhaps? Not a D?

Jerry;
After putting my good glasses on, it's actually a imperial crown over the number 1 and a period after the 1. Sorry for the earlier erroneous thread.

Daryl, Even that is a little unusual..All that I know of are marked with a Crown and a Roman numeral I II or III for 1st, 2nd or 3rd Bavarian Corps.
