Default Uprising movie

My cable crapped out, so I missed the first 45 minutes of the movie. The scenes I did see showed plenty of good action with MP40s, K98ks, P38s and MG42s, but I did not see any Lugers.

Default You should have been watching Band of Brothers...

Sunday night's episode of Band of Brothers on HBO was fantastic!

This was the episode where the 101st takes Austria and Hitler's Eagle's Nest. Very interesting and full of lots of things I never knew about. Wow...is Austria beautiful.

There were several scenes where the P-08 was shown. One memorable scene was when a Wermacht colonel surrendered to the 101st major (I can't remember his name) and handed him his pistol. The major returned it and said "you can keep your sidearm."

I never knew they let them keep things like that after the formal surrender, but that could just be Hollywood fluff.

Who knows...good series, anyway.
