Default M83 Mauser Unit Mark

This M83 Mauser has Württemberg acceptance antlers and the following unit mark: F.G. XIII.26.

Does this F.G. mark stand for Feld-Gendarmerie (Military Police) or Festungsgefängnis (Fortress Prison)?

I have searched on both forums and discovered differing opinions, but these two ideas were mentioned for a reichsrevolver and a luger.
