Default So called "Akka Mauser"

collectorfirearms.net had similar one like this in the past: 4-digit s/n, 2-line address text. Asked $800 something. I viewed that one a few times but missed the gun because I waited too long and someone else took it.

Before long, God may know I am waiting for it (?), another one was offered for sale. Better, coming with holster and two magazines. But auction end time was not very convenient -- 2pm in the afternoon. The winning price was about right, not many crazy people bid in the afternoon. $500 (if you have a good gun for sale, consider your listing time, don't let it end in the 2pm, or worse, 2am )

Here is the gun. Not in my hands yet. Will arrive soon. I heard Finnish call this thing "Akka Mauser" (Aunt Mauser)

Nice looking model 1914. I have 2 of them and they are a fun gun to shoot. It is kind of hard to belive that they were military sidearms though.

Three day look and see. Hopefully it will arrive next week.

I had two passed through my hands last year. Out of luck and both were returned. One was a partially refurbished gun with holster but looked innocent on photos. Another one was original but had "GERMANY" on the butt of the grip. I was not very sensitive on GERMANY export stamp, but since it was described as having no "GERMANY" in specific, so .... sorry.

Hopefully, this one will be the keeper.

Thanks Lord. It's here. One week for the check to reach the seller, two weeks to clear the check, one more week for the package to come.

If I remembered right, it's called "M702" in 1920s by official dealer.

Many 1914 survived well. In current buyer's market, many options are available.

Just sold a bunch of stuffs. It's time to put money "back into work". Next one will be a side latch 1910. Have not found one yet. Waiting.

Looked up the catalog, Stoeger listed M700 (1910) and M702 (1914) $20, M701 (WTP) $18, and M710 (Bolo) $75. After so many years, the price actually did not change much considering inflation.
