Thumbs down 1906 American Eagle with Eagle/Swaztika proofs??

I am always looking at American Eagles at the online auctions. This one caught my attention. It is a .30 1906 American Eagle that the seller states has a Eagle/Swaztika on it's right side and two on each side of it's brl. I could not see any when I blew up the photos 400%. I requested close-up pictures of the 'Eagle/swaztikas' and waiting for them. Maybe this AE has been around for awhile and there is a story to it, but it would be VERY strange, to me at least, how a AE could end up with these proofs. Hopefully someone has not tried to 'enhance' this AE with their own stamps. What you think?

I've heard that German spies in the US were issued American Eagles (without swaztikas )... probably not true. It seems that they would carry a much smaller pistol.

I suspect that he would have been issued a Walther PP given the rank/stature he was given by the Nazis and the propaganda work he did for them.

But we could always ask KV what he had in mind if we want to be sure.

Doubt whther he would have carried an AE from the States to Germany and then had it acceptance proofed.
