Default AMAZING deal on GB

Very interesting description. I bet this guy used to get high marks in his Creative Writing classes. $1700 for a mismatched shooter...I think he must think his eloquent discription must be Pulitzer Prize material if he thinks it's worth that much!
Poor guy.
"I giff yoou half ven vee sell it, neh?"
Maybe that's why he's so grossly overpriced...

Huh? Where's the URL in my original post? Did I forget to add it? Did I break a code of conduct? What the heck? Am I (further) losing my mind?
I'll try it again:

"Oh...", he says, feeling more than a bit behumbled.

Zemo -- I just read the ad in the link. The seller did not cheat anything (did he?). The asking price is not low, but that's not guilty by itself, IMO.

To me, if it's not the original part that was manufactured with the gun, it's not matching.

Exactly. My point was more along the lines of his attempts at "used car" style salesmanship, talking up a tired old donkey, as if it were a pedigreed race horse. It's a mismatched shooter plain and simple, and yet he embelishes it with yarns about how the sideplates were thrown away, and how the sideplate has been "sanitized", and how you need to take your rings off...Not to mention the poetic prose of Gunter the dead offizer...I wasn't suggesting this guy was trying to cheat anyone, so much as he sure is embelishing what is there. A "Buy it now" price of $1750 is quite a stretch.

I understand the frustration. Economy is bad these days, there are fewer buyers, and fewer interesting items, some high priced shooters are relisting endlessly. A little bit boring.
