PPK RZM rig

If you love Luger's, then you have to at least like German pre 1945 Automatics. So, I thought I would share a Walther PPK rig with the early 90 degree safety. Complete with holster, magazine with finger extension and extra magazine. Also has the slide stamped with RZM for Reichszeugmeisterei. Handgun, holster and magazines all show use, but overall nice condition. Grips are in excellent shape with no chips or major cracks. I understand these RZM marked PPK's were purchased by or provided to Party members. Enjoy

What a pretty little thing. I've always liked the PP/PPK series of guns. I just wish the Germans had adopted the 380 cartridge, instead of the .32. They would be a little more useful, in my opinion.

Not really. The .32ACP is near as good as the .380. And a lot more agreable (read easy to master) to shoot.

This is an old thread, but I am hoping someone here can answer a couple of questions about this PPK.

Approximately when (year and/or serial #) the early 90 degree safety transitioned to the 45 degree safety on PPK's?

Approximately when (year and/or serial #) the PPK mags stamped with just the Walther Banner transitioned to mags stamped with PPK, caliber and the Walther Banner?

This is a Crown N PPK with a Walther Banner only marked mags. I have seen Eagle N PPK's with the PPK, caliber and Walther Banner marked mags. I believe Eagle N started in 1940? Just looking for more definitive information than just, it's pre or post 1940, if such information exists.
