Default Odd Scope ID?

I posted this on Still's forum. In a hurry so don't have time to duplicate here.

Any ideas on what it is? This was given to a friend. He would like to know what it is and if it is of any value.

Thanks, Ron

I've got one of these as well, looks like the fellows on the other board nailed it on the head: for the recoiless rifle, M86F is used with Mount, Sight: M74 and Sight, Front: M26 on Rifle, 57 Millimeter: HE, M306 or M306A1. Mine is Korean war vintage, identical to this one.

A 57mm eh? Now I know what those little SOBs in black jammies were looking at us through. They put a round through our bow. Fortunately it was probably captured from the French and the ammo had degraded. It was a dud. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be writing this.
