Did I make a mistake?
I turned down a NIB standard pattern (not Swiss) Mauser parabellum, 9mm with 6" barrel and all accessories and papers at a firm asking price of $1100. Should I have bought it?

Aaron,
It seems a bit high to me. I sometimes run into these as you have described for $850 to $900. Was there anything really special about this one? Scott |

It's a toss up. Just about the current level for take it or leave it depending on whether or not you actually want it.

I think $1100 is too high if you intend to shoot the gun. Perhaps it is about market price for a gun you don't intend to shoot but keep as an investment.
You can buy an excellent Wartime Luger for shooting for less than this price. Just my
