The August Reno Show
The Reno show is still going on as this post is written but we all felt a deep sense of loss at Ralph Shattuck's absence. The likes of him will never be seen again. A few of the many lugers present are shown below....

Jerry said that the show was remarkably slow, not a lot of buyers, even for good prices?

Ed, Charlie is correct. Not much traffic, even for buying ammo. Hoping for more people Saturday (when I left) and Sunday.

Bill, this subject is up for conjecture. Despite the fact that Ralph had been ill for some time and made some major recoveries over the recent years, exact details regarding the sell off of his vast luger collection and sales inventory apparently were never finalized as I have been lead to understand. Much is up for speculation at this moment. I'm sure details, when they become available in the future will perhaps become obvious. Whether a major auction house or some other outlet will play a role is pure guesswork at this juncture.
