market for magazines
All,
I notice on Gunbroker that there typically no/few bids on magazines. Is that due to overpricing of the initital bid on that site? George

Hi George, there is no simple answer. First, some are over priced. There are many that are being sold AS IS. This is always a red flag for me. There has been much discussion on the honesty of the Copernes Cove, Texas site.
Hope this helps! |

Agreed
There are some good buys out there and decent buys. Hope this isn't a bunch of info you already know. With magazines, look at the base, see if it has been sanded or stamped over. It is usually easy to tell. I have almost bought a couple of the ones offered by 'the gunman' that is Richie from the forum and a very honest guy. I have not bought them because I bought 28 magazines a month or so ago from a fellow collector. First decide what kind you want, wood or aluminum, original shape or shooter shape. Remember, the real ones, look real, and also remember that the 2/1001 are DDR ones, great for shooters, but post war. Ed
