Default "42" 1940 P.08 with K.W.K. 1939

Hey
I checked my Luger today, serial 4993 e. Dismounted it to check all parts match, and rebluing or refinish.
All number match, even the firing pin. Magazine is same e block, but has serial 9983 e.
No rebluing or refinish i am most shure.

Should the woodgrips had the serial?
They both have e/655, letter is Q and S. And a large E with some lines inside...

The 1939 KWK holster with WaA107 is not often seen i believe...

Thank you!

Default Holster

From observation the K.W.K. 1939 dated holsters do not have the second row of stitching behind the magazine pouch. Nice piece.

Asle

I confess I'm not an holster expert so that is one of those topics I always prefer to bite my lips on, BUT I think that your 1940 Mauser from the pictures looks like a really good one.
Mauser made aluminium bottom mags from 1925 until early 1940 when plastic ones appeared.

Congratulations again.

Sergio
