1918/1920
Picked up this 1918 / 1920 re work at a local gun shop for A good price. Normally, I would have passed it up, but I thought the markings were interesting so I brought it home!
Complete numbers matching! Including mag, grips and firing pin. The only questions I have, has to do with the imperial eagle on the trigger guard, (How common)? and the E/S? on the right side. I know It's probably a re-work stamp, but was wondering where from? The last three digits look like "L1S"? How many different Eagle/ Swastika re-work stamps were there? Or is this still unknown? but I just wanted to share my excitement as well! I also picked up a 1918/1920 Erfurt Police Luger today for what I thought was a great price... I will post pictures as soon as the 10 day wait is over CHRISTIAN |
