funny, I had the idea that Denmark would think large numbers of armed Americans would be a welcome sight....oops, I must be thinking 1944

Since the Ideal luger stock/holster have a patten date of 1910, the "Old West" photo was probably taken after that. I have also heard of some LE officers using the luger during that period. TH

Considering the smirks on both the "prisoners" in the "Old West' photo, I'm guessing that it is a still shot from some silent era "oat burner" movie...

Would be interesting to found out what old silent movie that "Cowboy" image is from.Fun to imagine other scenes waving around a AE luger. The background looks like early Los Angeles,before all the buildings. Many of these old films are gone forever,due to the nitrocellulose film stock. The film strips where very flammable and either burn or simply disintegrate over time.
