Opened yesterday and already 18 bids. Lotsa interest it seems and justifiably so, I think. With that much attention it'll probably go high.

The picture quality and selection is such that I believe I detect evidence of refinish. I also suspect that the rear toggle flange will be found to be correct.

I do not know if the front barrel band transition to the barrel is correct...looks a bit odd.

The depth of "1917" on the chamber may indicate a refinish sometime.

The lack of a smaller "1917" on the left side of the front sight base is worrisome as well...IMO.

As that old song asked..."...where have all the halos gone...gone to halo graveyard, everyone..."

I liked this gun at the low bidding for a shooter...

I would really like a Navy, and if this one was priced at the 1500 bucks it should be I might be tempted.
