mag suffix
What is your opinion of the suffix on this mag,its being represented as an a. thanks clint

* I vote for an "e" suffix; but, if this is a bird eagle acceptance, it does not compute on a wood bottom mag. If a crown over Fraktur letter, than a late Erfurt plug. * IMHO !! Bob |

I would agree with the e suffix. The stamp does appear to be an Erfurt inspector mark. The number, however, does not appear to be the original stamping.
