Artillery Holsters
Can someone tell me if an artillery holster has no date on it can it be assumed it is commercial or is it possible it could have been part of an original military rig.
Thanks Furon |

Furon is not mandatory that LP08 imperial holsters have date.
If you look at my web site you can see several examples of LP08 holsters. Ciao Mauro http://lugerlp08.free.fr

Mauro I thank you for your speedy reply. The holster I have is dark brown with a kind of 'gloss' finish.
The strap attached to the stock is of the same leather and is marked 'MAURY & CO' do you know if this could have been military. I thank you very much for your time. Furon |

Maury & Co produced alot of Artillery Luger leather goods. Some old LP08 holsters seem to be unmarked because markings are faded or worn to the point that they are almost invisible
