Need ID and Value help 1915
1915 DWM...All numbers match(including grips and firing pin) except takedown( I think its and Erfurt)..
Bore shows some pitting..finish is original and in 75+% condition..Straw is faded....It has "BNP" british proof marks in several places...WHY?..When?? Also ...any help on value..This was part of a larger purchase and will probably divest this item.. Photos included.. |

BNP=British Nitro Proof, evidence that the gun was either:
a. Stored by Interarms in their English warehouses in the 1960s or b. It was brought back to England by a British serviceman and proofed under crown law. In the condition you describe, the piece should be about $550-650 Tom A. |
