Default The Kaiser

Sharing a photograph acquired a short time ago. This image of the Kaiser is autographed and memorialized a visit to the Kiel shipyard. He's resplendent in his Kaiserliche Marine uniform with all medals and decorations.

Here's a photo of the Kaiser relaxing with some of his pals.

My step Grandpa who passed away in 1980 was from Savanna GA. He was a US Artillery officer in WW II and Korea. He looked and had a moustache exactly like that, and it was a church and family joke to call him "The Kaiser".

Great story. Imagine how many today would have no idea who that was.

Neat photos. I kinda like these two, Wilhelm and Mackensen in their Hussar garb.
