Default Mauser Luger 2006

Purchased a rework by Mauser GmbH of a 1938 S/42 4" couple of years back. Front grip inscribed with Mauser logos etc .The bluing was so deep & highly polished you could almost see your face in it.Trouble was they had buffed every sharp edge away.everything was rounded and completely spoilt.I was so disapointed that Mauser could have treated one of their Lugers in such a way.Didn`t keep it long, did you see any like that in your location.Kestraal

Hi Kestraal,

You should have kept it. Although the quality of the rework can be discussed, the guns are pretty rare and one of the last attempts Mauser made in the pistol business before they packed it all in in 1999.
