Hi Ed,

This holster is in great shape for being 94 years old. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

If I did not have an early one, already, I think I would plunge in...and compared to some of the leather prices on the Simspon site, this one is a bargin...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Verrry Nice Pete.....

If I were in the market - I'd bid... But then - I'd have to get a Swiss Luger to go along with it... And then - I'd have to get another Swiss to go along with the first... Then - since I'd have TWO Swiss Lugers - I'd have to consider actually "collecting" Swiss Luger. then...

Hmmm - talk about a "slippery slope"!!!??!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Looks like it was made in 1910. Is that what you guys see?

I can see the "10" stamp Ron, but I am too ignorant to know if it stands for the year... <img border="0" alt="[ouch]" title="" src="graemlins/c.gif" /> ...if it does, I guess that means it's NOT a reproduction...

Ron and John, It does have a 10 under the makers mark. If this is the year? Don't know nothin' bout no Swiss holsters. He says it's made out of "Leather" Cowhide. Must have been before they came out vinyl cows?

Yep, the 10 is the year of production (1910)and looks like sewn with red wire.
