Default 1941 Mauser Banner

Recent acquisition, a very nice 1941 police with two
matching mag´s .
These Mauser Banner have a great finish .....
The Holster is dated 1939 Schambach & Co

Otto, yes, very nice indeed. I really like your photography as well!

For the benefit of the new guy, please tell me what is the black cylinder shaped object (that looks to me like a 'duck call')

That is a beautiful rig. But I'm with eugen; What Is That? It obviously goes on the muzzle, but for what purpose?

Eugen,

I just know the german word for it " Putzstockaufsatz "

It is a really rare item issued to police lugers.

It is mounted to the muzzle when cleaning the barrel, to
prevent any damage in this area ....

Build by ERMA and E/B proofed .

best regards

Otto

I thought it would be nice to save a pic here in case someone Searched for a Putzstockaufsatz or muzzle guide in a year or so, and abload.de had changed its format...

Thanks Pete.
There is a high probability that the picture would have disappeared.
