Default Hitlers Luger?

Gotcha

Hehehe sorry couldnt help myself

But possibly issued to his WW1 Unit?

Saw this and had to share it, and really wonder about your opinion

Ran into this also not a Luger but if proven rather historic
Wonder if there are any pictures of him carrying it during a hunt?

Interesting. Doubt it should warrant a Hilter association.

Supose it's all math, no one left to ask
How many people in the Unit
What's the percentage chance that at some time he carried it???

I'm shocked at the finish been looking at it to see if it's been redone as it looks perfect even the straw

Yes, I am interested if it was redone as well. Look at the pick of the underside of the barrel. Almost looks like numbers buffed away? Not light or canted stamp? Most stamps and numbers are filled in with white lacquer which can cover up reblue clues. Have to have it in hand to tell I guess.

The only KNOWN Hitler Luger is the one he registered with the police. It was a 1915 Erfurt #6901g.

Looks restored to me. Very polished looking, grips cleaned, new strawing. IMHO
And how can it go for 12K, with two pictures of the luger and 4 or 5 of a WW2 holster?

Come on, bring backs don't make 6x the value. Now, I could be wrong, my wife insists that I have been wrong several times during our 40 years together.

Ted Green could make them look almost new and he was excellent at restoring lugers and in my opinion, this one doesn't look as good as I've seen them.

A friend of mine showed me a 2 matching mag early army luger in Louisville, DWM I think, and that could be a 12K gun. it literally looked almost new, but wasn't.
