Like yours, my four 1920 commercials are all without import markings, which leads me to think that the ones stamped "Germany" are in shorter supply.

My understanding is that only Commericals destin for sale in the USA were required by our laws, to be stamped with the country of origin. This is why those with the Germany marking are more common here than elsewhere. Tom H.
