Old Lugers
I have two luger frames I picked up back in the 70s and never looked at them until now. One is with an eagle in the front section and a serial number in the 2000. The other one has a serial number in the 5000 with a P in the front section. I don't know much about lugers as I collect rifles from the 1860s. Can anyone give me information about these two luger frames?
Thank you Stu |

Welcome to the forum. If you can post some photos of your Lugers you will tend to get more informative responses to your questions.

Welcome, STU
We really need to see pictures of your lugers. You should take some photos in bright light (out door on an overcast day is ideal) with a dark gray or red backgroun: Full view of each side, top, front, rear, and under the barrel at a minimum Your descriptions are to vague to make much of a guess. You can also view or download our FAQ booklet in PDF form (see the FAQ menu above). The American Eagle (AE) lugers were commercial lugers intended for the American market. It is stamped on the top of the chamber. Commercial lugers were made in 7.65mm (.30 cal luger) or 9mm. British stamps would be very interesting. You can upload photos using the Go Advanced button (below). Then look down the short list for the option to upload photos. That will pop a smaller window that allows you to upload your photo files. |

While we're waiting for pics, it would be good to move this post to the correct section.
