It's a commercial DWM from the 1920s. I'm sure others will be along soon with more.

Same posting from Jan's forum:
Welcome to the forum, pictures are great, but words help a lot. Caliber? if 7.65mm probably $550-$750 if 9mm then add a $100-$150 to that. It is a alpahbet commericial luger made in the 1930's. Next time it would be better to post picture here on this forum. also, when you do decide to sell, post info and a price, it is required to post a price here in the trader section. Ed

Ed is pretty close to the price. You need to confirm the caliber as this makes a large difference That barrel ramp is turned away in the picture but looks a bit high and most often that means a 7.65 Try placing a rubber top pencil in the barrel, if its a tight fit it is a 7.65 Good Luck Vern |

Post a for sale, with a price, and pictures, here on the forum and then get an FFL from a member and ship them the pistol after they send you the money.... A 30 luger and a 7.65mm are the same. I would imagine if you asked $625 shipped it would sell quick, it would sell slower at $725 and would sit there for a while at $800.... Ed |

I am fishing for a price though....I dont want to get ripped off....I want to get a modern 45 , so I need to know what to sell for...Thanks for confirming earlier post Ed.....always best to get second and even third opinions...could mean hundreds of bucks gained or lost.......you are also the one who replied to my post on the luger gun board....thanks again... |

It is very difficult to give you a price from pictures. If it is all matching, if the bluing is original, if the bore is good then I think you could expect $800 as a reasonable price. You can always come down. Prices are a study in themselves. I feel that commercials are increasing in value just like the military lugers. If you sell to a dealer or trade for something else with them you will realize considerably less than selling to a third party. Good luck and welcome to the forum. Bill
