Default Luger Hoster Repair & Resoration

I would like to ask the hoster repair experts a) whether it is advisable to restore the finish for luger holster if it is fair to poor or does it decrease its value and b) what is the going rate for this type of repair and c) confirm that the luger holsters were surface dyed.

Hi Paul,
It depends mostly on how poor the condition. And if the holster has rare marks, etc. Jerry Burney "lugerholsterepair" is the best you will find, bar none. If you can post a series of photos, showing good views of the holster. He could possibly give you an estimate. And compared to his work. His prices are'nt that high. In fact not high enough. And there is'nt much he can't tell you about original Luger holsters, and how they were made.

Ron
